14 May Copenhagen Flames announce partnership with BC Hospitality
Danish esports organisation Copenhagen Flames have announced a partnership with BC Hospitality Group.
According to the organisation’s announcement on Twitter, the deal will allow Copenhagen Flames to provide its esports teams with ‘bootcamp’ facilities.

Copenhagen Flames has rosters in CS:GO, as well as Fortnite, in which the organisation offers online and in-person esports bootcamps in its native country of Denmark.
Steffen Thomsen, CEO of Copenhagen Flames commented: “Our new partnership with BC Hospitality Group is an expression of our brand reaching further by the fact that we can attract brands from partners in new industries.
“We will create the framework for bootcamps on a very high level ready to utilised by international and Danish esports teams. We have already realised this with success before and look forward to welcoming even more teams in the future.”
BC Hospitality Group currently runs three international hotels in Copenhagen Marriott, AC Hotel Bella Sky Copenhagen, and Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers.

Eva Lundgren, Group Marketing Director of BC Hospitality Group added: “The partnership with Copenhagen Flames is an expression of BC Hospitality Group’s wish to take an active role in Danish and international esports and gaming.

The group also runs the Bella Center in Copenhagen, which can accommodate up to 20,000 people, making it the largest exhibition centre in Scandinavia.
Esports Insider says: This is a major deal for both parties. If the partnership proves to be fruitful, then perhaps other European esports teams may expand their training and bootcamp horizons to Scandinavia, particularly as Danish esports continues to grow even further.
