Mobile Legends: Bang Bang event ESL Snapdragon Pro Series: Mobile Masters 2025 has concluded, with 2.7m viewers turning into the finals, according to data analytics company Esports Charts.

The event, which concluded last weekend at the Tennis Indoor Stadium Senayanin Jakarta, Indonesia, saw finalists ONIC Philippines and RRQ Hoshi square off for the title. In the end, it was the former who dominated, taking down the opponents with a 4-1 record and winning $80,000 (~£60,492) of the $200,000 (~£151,231) prize pool.

With this record, the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series: Mobile Masters is currently the most popular esports event of the year when it comes to peak viewership. Moreover, the event is placed tenth among all MLBB tournaments, only behind global events such as the M6 World Championship.

According to Esports Charts, there was growth in viewership during the series but with no sharp spikes, meaning that the increase was organic and thanks to the presence of community casters such as R7 Tatsumaki and RRQ Skylar, with 95,000 and 82,000 concurrent viewers, respectively.

Its second most-watched series also surpassed over 1.6m viewers, with other matches also hitting close to one million people tuning in, showcasing the popularity of the event and the teams involved. In particular, RRQ Hoshi is considered one of the most popular teams in the MLBB ecosystem, while ONIC Philippines is the current reigning world champion after winning the M6 World Championship at the end of 2024.

Average viewership was quite strong at the event, having closed at over 468,000 viewers, proving how popular Mobile Legends is in the current esports ecosystem. The Indonesian audience stood out, having reached 760,698 peak viewers on the official MPL Indonesian YouTube channel.

The record currently held by the event will likely be challenged in the upcoming international MLBB events, such as the MLBB Mid-Season Cup, which will take place this summer during the Esports World Cup.
