British Fortnite player Kyle ‘Mongraal’ Jackson has become the latest esports professional to join energy drink brand Red Bull as a player.

As a result of the deal, Jackson will compete in tournaments under the Red Bull banner throughout the 2025 season.

Alongside representing Red Bull in competitions, Mongraal will also participate in several Red Bull UK gaming activations that will take place during the remainder of the year.

Mongraal joins an extensive list of esports players, content creators and traditional sports athletes who represent Red Bull. This includes the likes of Ludwig ‘Ludwig’ Ahgren and four-time Formula One world champion Max Verstappen.

“Joining Red Bull is a dream come true,” said Mongraal. “Red Bull has always been about pushing limits, and that’s exactly what I want to continue doing in esports. I can’t wait to get stuck in and see where we go from here.”

Who Is Mongaal?

Mongraal burst onto the competitive Fortnite scene in 2018 where he represented Team Secret before switching to FaZe Clan until 2023. Red Bull marks the third organisation he has represented in his seven-year playing career.

Notable achievements include winning the Chapter 2 Season 4 FNCS Grand Finals in 2020, taking home $37,000 (~£28,736) in prize money.

In 2019, the player recorded a 13th-place finish at the Fortnite World Cup’s solo competition and a sixth-place in the duos tournament, earning $375,000 (~£291,337).

More recently, Mongraal finished eighth in the opening Major of the 2025 FNCS season. The top two teams from each of the three Majors earn direct qualification to the Global Championships taking place in Lyon from September 6th to 7th, 2025.

The addition of Mongraal to Red Bull takes the energy drink brand’s total number of Fortnite players to three. Alongside the British player, Amar ‘Amar’ Al-Naimi and Martin ‘MrSavage’ Foss Andersen also compete for the brand after joining in 2022 and 2023 respectively.
