The winners of Marvel Rivals’ North America PC division came as a surprise to everyone following the scene. 100 Thieves were the favourites to win following its performance in the NA Invitational, where the team previously beat Sentinels
However, this time Sentinels came back with vengeance. The organisation defeated 100 Thieves not only in the Upper Bracket Finals (winning 3-0), but also with a landslide victory in the grand finals, which ended 4-0. The team’s dominant display was a victory. Sentinels couldn’t help but celebrate on X.
Virtus.pro once again proved to be one of the strongest teams in EU. Though many anticipated a grand final rematch between the organisation and Team OG following the EMEA Invitational, OG were eliminated in the lower bracket semi-finals against Luminosity EU.
Another noteworthy development was that all participating teams in the Asia Invitational were noticeably absent from the Asia PC and console championships. The winners, Uprise, have no previous esports experience in Marvel Rivals, but were able to defeat established teams such as Gen.G Academy.
