Multinational esports organisation Team Liquid has announced a partnership with metal poster manufacturer Displate.

The deal will see both parties collaborate on a range of posters featuring content creators, Liquid’s mascor, and players from its League of Legends and VALORANT rosters.

The first collection of six posters was designed by ‘ohnips,’ an illustrator that has previously collaborated with Riot Games and Cloud9. The posters include Søren ‘Bjergsen’ Bjerg (League of Legends), Max ‘qojqva’ Bröcker (Dota 2), Adil ‘ScreaM’ Benrlitom (VALORANT), Max ‘Maximum’ Smith (World of Warcraft) and Juan ‘Hungrybox’ Debiedma (Super Smash Bros.).

According to a release, the six posters are the first collection between Displate and the organisation. The poster manufacturer has stated that more designs will be released in the ‘coming weeks’.

This isn’t the first time Displate has entered esports. Earlier in 2022, it joined forces with World of Warcraft guild Echo to create a range of posters that include its logo and various guild members. Moreover, the manufacturer features a range of branded gaming products including Overwatch, Call of Duty and Rainbow Six Siege.

Mike Milanov, Chief Business Development Officer at Team Liquid, spoke on the deal: “Displate offers an awesome product that will allow Team Liquid fans to celebrate our players, streamers and brand in a new creative way. We’re excited to partner with Displate, and can’t wait for Team Liquid fans to see the custom artwork!”

In the first half of the year, Team Liquid has secured a number of partnerships including a naming rights deal with Japanese car manufacturer Honda and a collaboration with Epic Games’ battle royale title Fortnite.

In addition, the organisation has secured existing partnerships. In May, it renewed its long-standing deal with gaming peripherals brand HyperX.
