Tiidal Gaming, the parent company of esports betting solutions firm Sportsflare, has announced a licensing agreement with esports data provider Bayes Esports.

The deal will see Sportsflare use live data garnered by Bayes Esports to help develop the firm’s suite of esports odds products.

Sportsflare’s esports odds products includes bet builder, pre-match/inplay odds and player proposition markets. A bet builder is when you can select multiple odds that will be calculated into one bet.

Bayes Esports offers real-time live data for a variety of esports titles, such as League of Legends, CS:GO and Dota2, among others. The data provider has also developed esports data hub BEDEX, which collects and distributes official data from live esports events to bookmakers, broadcasting teams, esports organisations and media.

In addition to using Bayes Esports’ live data, Sportsflare’s products will also be distributed to Bayes Esports’ client network. Some of the data provider’s clientele within the betting space are Pinnacle, Bet365 and Entain, according to its website.

The release also states that the agreement will help enable the creation of ‘next generation’ in-play esports wagering products, such as ‘Flash Markets’. Within the betting space, Flash odds are offerings that are available on popular markets and events for only a limited time.

This is Sportsflare’s first major move in esports since Tom Hearne, formerly of theScore, joined Tiidal Gaming as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Amir Mirzaee, COO and Managing Director at Bayes Esports Solutions, commented on the partnership: “We are very happy to welcome the aspiring team at Sportsflare to the trusted circle of select Bayes Esports data partners. We’ve observed them grow for a while and are looking forward to having this dynamic team push both innovation and integrity for esports betting service globally.”

Last month, the data company expanded its partnership with Riot Games for its League of Legends esports data portal. Some of the company’s other partners include ESL Gaming and Beyond the Summit
