European esports organisation QLASH has announced a partnership with Spanish sports apparel provider KELME.

As a result of the deal, KELME and QLASH will present the organisation’s new jersey during DreamHack Valencia, set to take place from July 1st – 3rd.

Officially, the sports apparel firm has been named QLASH’s technical partner in Spain. Alongside presenting the jersey, the organisation will have its own stand at the event where fans can purchase the product.

KELME is currently a partner for various football clubs around the world. This notably includes Premier League club Watford, La Liga team Espanyol and Portuguese side Boavista, among others.

QLASH are making something of a habit of teaming up with traditional sports entities.  Brazilian football club Flamengo teamed up with the organisation in 2021 for a Brawl Stars event, and MMA fighter Marvin Vettor was announced as an investor in October last year.

According to a release, the agreement looks to bolster QLASH’s relevance within Valencia by securing deals with companies in the region.

QLASH’s Head of Marketing, Communications and PR, Pablo Monti, also claimed that the deal could be the beginning of a longer relationship between the two companies.

Samuel Velázquez, Marketing and Communications Director at KELME, stated: “This partnership with a team like QLASH is really important for KELME in many ways.

“We continue to strengthen our presence in the esports sector, which we are convinced is here to stay, and we do so hand-by-hand with a project like QLASH, with many years of experience and with roots in the Valencian Community, where KELME started and where we continue growing.”

In 2022, QLASH officially launched its LATAM expansion after establishing operations in Mexico. Meanwhile, the organisation recently announced a sim racing partnership with Next Level Racing.
