Tournament organiser ESL Gaming has announced a partnership with gaming hardware company ASUS and its Republic of Gamers (ROG) brand.

As a result, the company will become the official OEM partner for ESL Pro League Conference and ESL Challenger tournaments for the remainder of 2022.

In addition, the partnership is expected to include several brand integrations that will see the ASUS logo appear in broadcast segments. During the events, ASUS will have its own booth highlighting its range of gaming laptops.

The hardware company joins multinational corporation Intel as the second partner of the EPL Season 16 Conference, which sees 16 CS:GO teams compete for six places in Season 16 of ESL Pro League.

ESL’s deal with ASUS includes all ESL Challengers competitions taking place at DreamHack‘s Valencia, Melbourne and Rotterdam events taking place in July, September and October.

In recent months, ESL has secured a number of deals with a variety of gaming hardware manufacturers. In May, the tournament organiser secured a deal with Acer’s gaming brand Predator for its Dota 2 circuit. Moreover, ESL joined forces with Lenovo Legion for its Intel Extreme Masters tournament circuit.

Bastian Veiser, Director of Partner Management at ESL Gaming, spoke on the deal: “With ESL Challenger and EPL Conference’s addition to the ESL Pro Tour, we can truly offer aspiring Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players a path from zero to hero.

“It is great to see an amazing brand like ASUS be devoted to the solid foundations needed for players to go pro. Therefore, we are super excited to have them on board as a partner and look forward to working with them.”

Alongside its ESL deal, ASUS was recently named a head partner of the Pinnacle Cup Championship. Over the last 12 months, the company has extended existing deals with eNASCAR and the High School Esports League.
