99Damage, a DACH CS:GO news website from esports agency Freaks 4U Gaming, has announced a partnership with audio streaming service Spotify.

As a result of the partnership, the service becomes a coverage partner for 99Damage. Spotify will support the website as it covers three events included in the 2022 ESL Pro Tour.

Specifically, the service will appear as an official partner during the ESL Pro League Season 16 Conference and IEM Cologne, as well as another unannounced Pro Tour event.

The Season 16 Conference begins on June 16th with 16 teams competing for six slots in ESL Pro League’s group stage. The ESL Pro league group stage commences on August 31st.

Over the past six months, Freaks 4U Gaming has secured two new deals. In January, it expanded its existing deal with German IT firm Shikenso Analytics. Moreover, the company recently partnered with Deutsche Messe to operate DreamHack Hannover in December.

Last year, Freaks 4U Gaming and ESL Gaming also merged its DACH CS:GO leagues to create ESL Meisterschaft by 99Damage.

Spotify is also no stranger to the esports industry. In 2020, the company joined forces with League of Legends esports as its exclusive audio streaming partner in a multi-year deal. In 2018, the service partnered with the Overwatch League ahead of the inaugural playoffs and Grand Finals that took place at the Barclays Center.

Founded in 2012, 99Damage is the largest CS:GO news website in Germany. It publishes various news in addition to hosting amateur tournaments and covering Majors and international tournaments.

Freaks 4U Gaming operates two Legaue of Legends European Regional Leagues. The Strauss Prime League represents the DACH region, whereas the NLC hosts teams for the Nordics, UK and Ireland. In recent weeks, the agency named Razer as the official supplier of the Prime League’s Summer Split.
