Moreover, Tyson Foods will be featured as part of the Esports Awards’ monthly spotlight shows and will run a competition for the chance to win a ticket to the event.

Michael Ashford, CEO of Esports Awards, commented: “It’s great to welcome Tyson Foods to the Esports Awards family. 2022 is a big year for us with a new location, new awards and a new look so it’s great to bring on board such an industry-leading partner in Tyson Foods.

“It is also such a testament to what we are achieving here at the Esports Awards that brands trust us in helping them make their way into the industry,”

Esports Awards revealed that its seventh ceremony will take place at Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas, Nevada. Tyson Foods branding will be spotlighted throughout the main ceremony and will also have a special feature within the show. The main awards event will take place alongside a range of other events, including a Lifetime Achievement Ceremony and Leadership Summit.

Earlier this year, Tyson Foods was named ‘Global Supplier of the Year’ by McDonald’s just as the two companies celebrated 40 years of partnership. The food processor also joined forces with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) as the first-ever title sponsor of the Black College World Series (BCWS).

At the same time, the awards show renewed its existing sponsorships with gaming chair manufacturer Secretlab and telecommunications company Verizon.

Esports Insider says: Tyson Foods has been making its way into esports since 2020 when it teamed up with entertainment platform Fandom for Muthead Madden Pro-Am. Now the food processing company has secured a partnership with the Esports Awards and is set to reach a wide esports audience, as it will be featured during the ceremony in December. It will also be interesting to see the digital activations both parties will produce leading to the awards event and how both brands will merge.
