According to the release, NSE will be distributing goods to participating university societies and encouraging them to run events. More details regarding the partnership will follow in the coming weeks.

Alex Coulson, Managing Director at NSE, commented: “We’re excited to be running Genshin Impact activity this year as it means we get to give more to our existing community and also to students outside of the core esports community. Gaming and esports has so many benefits to students from technical skills, social skills, to general entertainment so we’re looking forward to seeing the students getting stuck in.”

Within the competitive scene, NSE runs the British University Esports Championship (BUEC). The competition, which is presented by Intel and takes place over the 2021/2022 academic year, has reportedly seen over 2,000 UK university teams compete across a number of esports titles.

Later this month, Genshin Impact will also run an £11,000 prize pool university esports tournament. The Genshin Impact University Invitational UK, hosted by GinxTV and in partnership with NSE, will feature 10 universities.
