16 Mar Razer secures partnership with Knicks Gaming
Hardware manufacturer and lifestyle brand Razer has been named the official gaming chair partner of Knicks Gaming, the NBA 2K League franchise of Madison Square Garden Sports.
As an official partner, Razer will outfit the Knicks Gaming training facility with gaming chairs for both its players and staff.

The brand will additionally receive ‘significant brand inclusion’ across Knicks Gaming digital assets, including its official website, video assets and social media posts. Razer and Knicks Gaming also revealed that both entities will collaborate on original digital content, one of which will be an unboxing and assembly tutorial video of the manufacturer’s gaming chairs.
MSG Sports Vice President of Business Operations Dan Fleeter commented on the deal in a release: “We are proud to have Razer as the official gaming chair partner of the Knicks Gaming team.
“We look forward to utilizing their high-performance, high quality gaming chairs, and know that this partnership will be beneficial for both brands as we kick off the 2022 NBA 2K season.”

Razer unveiled its first gaming chair in October 2020 and has since landed partnerships with Alliance, Team Queso, and KRC Genk Esports.
Esports Insider says: Razer is a household brand in the industry and its transition into the gaming chair business is already seeming fruitful as the company secured its fourth partnership deal since debuting the Iskur chair in 2020.
