According to the release, AMD will be also featured in several social media campaigns to highlight the stories of student athletes. This will include a spring regular-season contest that will reward one student with their own custom-built computer.
CSL Esports oversees operations, marketing and business development for NACE Starleague. The organisation also help colleges and universities navigate the space as programme numbers rise across North America.
Rob Johnson, CEO of CSL Esports, commented: “The innovative spirit that AMD brings to their craft is a perfect match for NACE Starleague and the budding college esports ecosystem. Bringing a technology partner of their calibre to the league will only advance the legitimacy of our students, teams, and the overall community.”
Earlier this year, NACE Starleague joined forces with NASCAR to launch the eNASCAR College iRacing Series. Moreover, CSL Esports partnered with Nerd Street Gamers and Albright College to develop an on-campus esports facility.
