Felling is perhaps most known for her time at the Call of Duty League. However, her career spans for more than a decade and a half. Felling worked as a game producer and global esports head for Gears of War, as well as previously being Overwatch League’s product lead.
The new LCS Commissioner commented: ” It would be easy to be intimidated by the challenge of leading the LCS product with its decade-plus history, passionate fans, engaged owners, and high expectations for North America – but instead I feel genuinely excited to listen and learn and take time to understand what this ecosystem needs and wants.
“Over the next few weeks and months, the LCS team and I will be listening to players, teams, and the community to continue to execute the current product strategy and build a vision for the future of LCS.”

Felling added that former LCS Commissioner, Chris Greeley, will work closely with her in the coming months. Greeley, who is now working as the Head of Esports for North America and Oceania, will help Felling settle into the role and finalise the transition in time for the Summer Split of the LCS.
Felling said in her blog post on lolesports’ website that she believes in the community and that a ‘strong pipeline and amateur ecosystem is crucial’ for North American League of Legends.
Esports Insider says: Jackie Felling is known to be a great leader and a person who likes to listen to the community, which is exactly what the LCS needs. Leading the LCS will be a tough task, but Felling’s experience with the CoD League and Overwatch will surely help her.
