The 10,000 square-foot facility will contain a range of state-of-the-art gaming equipment that will be available for everyone. Moreover, the college will have private rooms for its esports teams alongside a classroom space for educational programmes.
John Fazio, CEO of Nerd Street Gamers, spoke on the deal: “When paired with accessible facilities, collegiate esports programs create new opportunities for prospective students, enhance the school curriculum, and serve as a backbone to the surrounding communities.
“We’re excited to continue our national rollout with our second partner school, Albright College, to develop a state-of-the-art esports facility that will house their school’s team, provide advanced educational opportunities to their students, and be a hub for innovation in the surrounding community.”

This is the second major collaboration between Nerd Street and CSL Esports. The pair, alongside NACE and Mainline, last year launched the NACE Starleague, one of North America’s largest collegiate esports leagues.
Jacquelyn S. Fetrow, Ph.D., President of Albright College, added: “We are thrilled about this partnership and the expanded athletic and academic opportunities that it brings to our students at Albright College.
“Not only will it be a catalyst for our growing varsity esports team and our Gamers Guild student club, but it will also inspire synergies with our computer science department, enhance our game and simulation major, provide hands-on learning experiences for our Science Research Institute high school students and others interested in the esports industry.”
Esports Insider says: Collegiate esports continues its upward trend in North America and as interest grows, educational institutions are going to want dedicated facilities to house its esports programmes. Albright College joining forces with CSL Esports and Nerd Street Gamers is a smart move thanks to the pair’s wealth of expertise in esports infrastructure and tournament operations.
