FaZe Clan names MoonPay as official cryptocurrency and NFT partner

North American esports organisation FaZe Clan has announced a multi-year partnership with cryptocurrency payments infrastructure provider MoonPay.

As FaZe Clan’s official cryptocurrency and NFT partner, both entities will collaborate on a series of content and media activations. FaZe Clan will also use MoonPay’s infrastructure for its forthcoming NFT and digital goods initiatives.

ESL and DreamHack named Rocket League Championship Series esports partner

Esports events organisers DreamHack and ESL Gaming have announced a multi-year agreement with game developer Psyonix for the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS).

The partnership follows on from a previous arrangement made between DreamHack and Psyonix for 2020’s Rocket League Championship Series.

Immortals secures crypto partnership with Fetch.ai

North American esports organisation Immortals has announced a partnership with artificial intelligence company Fetch.ai.

As part of the year-long agreement, both entities will collaborate on an influencer campaign called ‘Team Fetch.ai’.The influencer team will include Immortals’ Wild Rift player GosuHoon, VALORANT content creator Sheila ‘Pterodactylsftw’ Weidman, as well as Queens Gaming Collective streamers and content creators AvaGG and Demisux.

When 42-year-old Manny Pacquiao announced he’d be hanging up his gloves in September in a video on his official Facebook account, the former eight-division champion didn’t mention his pursuit of an entirely different fight.

In a press conference just days before, Senator Pacquiao announced that he accepted the nomination of his affiliated party as a candidate for president of the Republic of the Philippines. Today, true to PacMan fashion, he delivered a shot no one saw coming. In an official live-streamed press conference, a brand new gaming and esports brand was unveiled to thousands of viewers — Team Pacquiao GG (TPGG).

Global Esports Games unveils partners for inaugural event

The Global Esports Games, a multi-title esports competition hosted by the Global Esports Federation (GEF), has unveiled the first set of partners for its inaugural tournament.

The likes of Singapore Airlines, Samsung, telecommunications service MyRepublic, TikTok and gaming peripherals brand Razer will support the event taking place from December 18th-19th.
