07 Nov CS:GO: Team Vitality Looks To Make Major Roster Changes
Former Astralis trio to join the French side.
Team Vitality will reportedly go under massive changes following their defeat in the quarterfinals of PGL Major Stockholm against Natus Vincere. According to reports from French media publication 1pv.fr, the squad is looking to replace Richard “shox” Papillon, Jayson “Kyojin” Nguyen Van, and Head Coach Rémy “XTQZZZ” Quoniam.
Astralis recently made huge changes to their team, following a series of poor performances in the calendar year of 2021. In the process, the Danish side parted ways with Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen, Emil “Magisk” Reif and Head Coach Danny “zonic” Sørensen. More on it here.
The former Astralis squad members are now available and give a perfect opportunity to Vitality for changing its team. They have had decent performances, but lacked the potential to finish things off towards the end of tournaments. Getting knocked out towards the very end of Major competitions must be excruciating for the squad and a refresh to the roster might be one of the few things they can do to change the situation.
The reported new roster of Team Vitality is as follows:
Dan “apEX” Madesclaire
Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut
Kévin “misutaaa” Rabier
Emil “Magisk” Reif
Danny “zonic” Sørensen (Head Coach)
