KRAFTON Reveals Details For PUBG GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP 2021

The PGC will conclude PUBG events for the year.

KRAFTON has revealed details for the upcoming PUBG Global Championship. The event will be a LAN and online hybrid competition. PGC will feature 32 top teams from who will compete for a $2 million USD prize pool.

Event Schedule And Structure

PGC will run a month long, starting from November 19 to December 19. KRAFTON will hold the LAN event at the Paradise City Plaza in Incheon, South Korea. However, teams from China will compete online. Here are the dates for the event:

Rank Decision Matches: Nov. 19-21
Weekly Survival/Final Matches: Nov. 23-28
Weekly Survival/Final Matches: Nov. 29-Dec. 5
Weekly Survival/Final Matches: Dec. 6-12
Grand Finals Matches: Dec. 16-19

The Rank Decision Matches will push the top 16 teams to the next round. A win in the Weekly Survival match will guarantee a spot in Weekly Finals. However, the next highest ranking team will take their spot from the Decision Matches. After two weeks of this process, the final teams will face each other in the Grand Finals.

Prize Pool And Pick’em Challenge

The $2 million USD prize pool is divided into the following:

Weekly Series Winner: $30,000
Kill Leader: $10,000
All-PGC Team: $20,000 ($5,000 per player x 4 players)
Insane Squad: $20,000

Besides the prize pool, KRAFTON will hold the usual Pick’em Challenge to make things exciting. Fans who can predict the winner of PGC 2021 will get prizes. They can gain free voting coupons from the in-game esports tab. They can also buy PGC items there which will aid the prize pool by adding 30% revenue from each purchase.
