PGL unveils Shikenso Analytics partnership

Esports tournament organiser PGL has announced a commercial partnership with German IT company Shikenso Analytics.

As a result of the agreement, Shikenso Analytics will offer qualitative and quantitative cross-platform insights into sponsorship activities and activations on PGL’s streaming and social media channels.

Silviu Stroie, PGL CEO, spoke on the announcement in a release: “We have a close relationship with our partners, and we believe in full transparency when it comes to reports. That’s why we decided to collaborate with Shikenso Analytics“. 

According to the release, the tournament organiser is looking to ‘build on reliable metrics to evaluate the Stockholm Major’. The event is set to take place from October 26th to November 27th at the Avicii Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. 

Arwin Fallah, CEO of Shikenso, commented: “We are extremely excited to work together with PGL for the Stockholm Major. I’m sure that the analysis will support them in the best possible way in the evaluation and reporting to partners.”

In 2021, Shikenso Analytics has signed partnership deals with European esports organisation OG Esports and tournament organiser BLAST

Esports Insider says: Bringing in a data company to provide data analysis to evaluate partnership activations has become standard practice for esports tournament organisers, organisations and other companies in the industry. PGL’s partnership with Shikenso Analytics will help the firm provide transparency towards existing partners, as well as bolster strategic decisions regarding potential sponsors.
