Downloading third-party applications for Valorant controller support

Mapping Controls using REWASD
After installing the software, you can map the required action buttons with your controller. To do this, follow the steps given below.
Open REWASD software, and look for your connected gamepad/controller.
If the application does not show your controller, click on the three striped icons on the right side of the screen
Select your controller from the drop-down list and return to the main menu.
Now, start mapping the buttons according to your preferences.

Crouch: B
Reload: X
ADS: Right Analog Stick
Primary Ability: D-Pad Up
Secondary Ability: D-Pad Right
Tertiary Ability: D-Pad Down
Ultimate Ability: D-Pad Left
Character Movement: Left Analog Stick
Shoot: Right Trigger
Walk: Left Trigger
The above settings only apply the necessary buttons required to play the game. Other buttons for showing the map, talking with teammates, etc. can be mapped according to your likings.
After mapping, simply launch Valorant and start playing with your controller.
Is it legal to use a controller in Valorant?
Riot Games has not made any specific statements about the usage of a controller in Valorant. So, it entirely depends upon your convenience and preference. However, refrain from using any untrusted controller mapping software.
