Alongside providing the team with monitors, the BenQ MOBIUZ branding will be visible on the drivers’ personal streams and digital content. The deal coincides with the start of the fourth F1 Esports Series, which gets underway on October 13th.

Cedric Journel, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Alpine, spoke on the partnership: “We are delighted to partner with BenQ and benefit from their expertise in the F1 Esports Series. We have seen in recent years that the competition has become very tight as the teams move up a gear in preparation and delivery.

“We have seen success for the Alpine brand across different racing series and we want to carry forward the winning mentality into Esports, which is a very significant opportunity for the brand’s growth. Partnering with prestigious brands such as BenQ is a clear commercial and technical sign of our intent.”

BenQ becomes the second partner of Alpine F1 Esports team, joining French sim racing company Race Clutch which provides the team with a range of hardware including dedicated rigs built for competition.
Steve ChuPresident of BenQ Europe, also commented: “We are thrilled to collaborate with Alpine Esports team. With their winning DNA mentality and stepping into a new era of F1 Esports with experienced and talented driven players, Alpine Esports is a great partner.
“We are looking forward to closely exchanging information and receiving professional feedback from their drivers and team to further optimise the performance of our MOBIUZ gaming monitor series. It is our drive and dedication to give sim racers a great immersive experience.”
Esports Insider says: Sim racing can often be decided by split-second decisions and to ensure that Alpine’s F1 Esports drivers can compete at the highest level, joining forces with BenQ is a smart move. The partnership also benefits the monitor manufacturer, which will receive plenty of valuable feedback from the drivers to optimise its products.
