Dota 2: Valve Calls Off The International 10 Ticket Sales

We will miss the electric atmosphere and cheer of the crowd.

Valve has decided to refund the ticket sales and restrict live audiences from attending The International 10 event. The decision was looming as the situation in Romania got worse. The rise in COVID cases has cancelled plenty of events. We’re at least still lucky enough to witness TI 10, even if it is online.

The decision has caused both negative and positive feedback around the world. Some are in uproar and angry with Valve deciding things at the very last moment. Many fans have already made their way to Romania this weekend. Traveling far away from their homes, fans are now furious and in utter dismay they to learn then will not be allowed in the stadiums.

Some fans are happy that Valve is acting sensibly for the safety of everyone involved with the tournament, including the spectators.

It’s sad to see that the pandemic has again taken away a crucial aspect of any live esports tournament. However, with The International just four days away, it’s time to focus on the good side of things and enjoy the action online.
