Philadelphia Fusion bid farewell to Mobydik
Philadelphia Fusion Assistant Coach, Sim “Mobydik” Seung-bo, has been released by the team today; as made public in a tweet directly on the Fusion’s account.
As we part ways with @Mobydik_ow today, We’d like thank him for everything he’s done for the Fusion for the past seasons.
Thank you for the loving leadership—always keeping our heads cool and our hearts warm.⁰⁰⁰ We wish you the best of luck in the next chapter of your career! pic.twitter.com/TdzGxKF6im

Ionizing the Fusion
Mobydik has not yet made any comments about his separation from the team in terms of whether it was mutual or what his future plans are. He leaves the team as a two year veteran coach with a 34-8 record coaching the Fusion, including a Championship Runner-Up placing in the 2020 season. Needless to say that if Mobydik makes the decision to continue working in the Overwatch League, we will be seeing him again soon.
Who’s Next?
As for the Fusion, they currently stand with only their Head Coach and a single English speaking Assistant Coach. They will likely be looking to pick up a Korean Assistant Coach in the offseason to help with the individual training of the Korean half of their team. With Overwatch Contenders seasons coming to a close in all regions, this may open a spot for some new brains to enter the league.
Neither party has made it clear what the future holds, but we will all be keeping a close eye on their situations for the soonest possible updates.
