Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliot Signs With XSET Gaming

XSET Gaming adds Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliot as content creator and investor.

Esports organization XSET Gaming grew its roster and list of investors today—signing Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliot. Elliot is a superstar in the NFL and also happens to be an avid gamer off the field. The five-year NFL professional player has made the Pro Bowl three times and was first-team All-Pro in his rookie year.

He joins former FaZe Clan brass in XSET Gaming as a content creator and investor. It’s not surprising, considering how far gaming has come over the last decade. The organization made it official today, as did the NFL superstar himself.

XSET Welcomes Ezekiel Elliot

The 🐐 @EzekielElliott has been repping the Set for a minute, but now it’s time to make it official.

Celebrities and athletes have been slowly but surely involving themselves in esports and gaming. Ezekiel Elliot follows a promising trend in somewhat of an untapped market. The sky’s the limit in the gaming realm. Titles of late such as Call of Duty: Warzone and Apex Legends have found their way into the mainstream for veterans and casuals to enjoy.

Elliot commented his reason for joining XSET in a statement to Bleacher Report: “I really admire the culture of the organization and what XSET stands for,” he said. “Everyone’s passion and love of gaming and the family vibe.”

With rosters in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Fortnite Battle Royale, Valorant and more, XSET has grown immensely in just one year after its inception. Other recognizable figures such as New England Patriots defensive player Kyle Van Noy and Puerto Rican singer Ozuna are investors in XSET Gaming.

It’s unclear what Elliot’s expectations will be as a creator. His Twitch channel possesses nearly 50K followers. However, he has not streamed in over a year.

He did appear alongside popular steamer Tim “TimTheTatman” Betar in Betar’s first livestream at the Cowboys’ own AT&T Stadium. The two played Warzone on a massive screen.

Another athlete at Ezekiel Elliot’s caliber diving into the esports space is a net positive across the board. We’ll have to see what else XSET has in store as it continues to grow.
