Team Nigma has the monumental task of managing several esports teams under their roof. The Galaxy Racer esports division includes over 60 professional players from 20 different countries. These players are representing the team in their respective esports titles like League of Legends, Valorant, CS:GO, PUBG Mobile, Fortnite and a few more.

It is important to note that Galaxy Racer will continue working in its brand name, while Team Nigma will operate as Nigma Galaxy. The new organization will aim to develop both Middle-East and North African regions. However, Nigma’s presence means that Nigma Galaxy may expand in Europe as well.

Paul Roy, CEO and Founder of Galaxy Racer, had his say on the merger: “Team Nigma’s leadership team carries vast experience as professional players, which we believe will be a great asset to building and supporting all the teams under the Nigma Galaxy banner.” Roy also mentioned Galaxy Racer’s principles of developing the grass roots and nurturing them into talented professional esports athletes. The merger will help achieve those objectives.

Nigma has a similar aim to that of Galaxy. Mohammed Morad, Co-Founder of Team Nigma pointed out Galaxy’s understanding of the entertainment business and that it will aid in their development as a united concern.

The MENA region has low familiarity with esports. This is mainly due to the lack of proper infrastructure and funding. It will be interesting to see how the newly formed alliance will affect esports in these regions and how their expansion will take place in newer areas on the globe.
