04 Sep Fortnite Content Creator AussieAntics Joins NRG
NRG signs content creator AussieAntics.
Esports organization NRG possesses perhaps the most impressive roster of Fortnite Battle Royale players from top to bottom. That list includes such prolific names as Cody “Clix” Conrod, Benjy “benjyfishy” Fish, and, more recently, Logan “Bucke” Eschenburg. Many would agree that NRG has a stranglehold on Fortnite’s top talents, which expanded to content creation with the organization’s latest addition.
NRG announced today the signing of Shaun Cochrane, better known to most as AussieAntics. The former Epic Games-employed commentator has taken a massive leap since going full-time on Twitch, and this is perhaps his most significant milestone to date.

The organization announced its newest signing today on Twitter with a video to boot. NRG’s Executive Producer — Grady Rains — once again brought the comedy while welcoming AussieAntics to the crew. The script followed Grady, who was in search of a new NRG member closer to his age. He stumbled upon AussieAntics and reached out to him with an offer. Clix and benjyfishy made cameo appearances in the announcement video. Aussie garnered more than 30K viewers on his FNCS Season 7 Finals live stream after the NRG news broke.
NRG revealed that AussieAntics would relocate to North America from Australia to join NRG’s Content Castle officially. It’s unclear what the Australian’s expectations are, but we can anticipate lots of content and collaborations. Despite Epic removing him from the official broadcast, AussieAntics is in perhaps the best position of his career as a creator in Fortnite Battle Royale.

The popular Australian personality has been creating content for some time in Fortnite. He notably casted the AO Summer Smash in 2020 and has since elevated to one of the scene’s most recognizable names. Aussie spends most of his time streaming watch parties and gameplay on Twitch, with thousands watching and creating helpful YouTube videos.
AussieAntics is a significant pick-up for NRG, and it’ll be interesting to see what the organization has in the chamber for his arrival in the states. It’s not clear when he’ll move to North America, but it’ll likely happen sometime next year.
