27 Aug Galaxy Racer secures content partnership with LaLiga
Dubai-based esports organisation Galaxy Racer has announced a three-year partnership with Spanish football league LaLiga.
The partnership will see both entities collaborate to create an original content series that will feature players from LaLiga, as well as Galaxy Racer’s influencers.

According to the release, the series will focus on ‘combining global esports, gaming and lifestyle content’ to appeal to football and esports fans. Galaxy Racer’s influencers will travel to Spain to visit some of the country’s major football clubs.
The first season, which is currently in pre-production, is expected to have 10 episodes.
Each episode will focus on a city, with Barcelona, Madrid, Sevilla, and Valencia some of the places mentioned in the release. The project is set to last for three seasons.

This year has been a prosperous time for Galaxy Racer as the organisation continues to strengthen its commercial portfolio. Alongside LaLiga, Galaxy Racer has secured deals with the likes of Waverider and Techxhub. Moreover, the organisation has hired several key personnel.

Regarding the new partnership, Maite Ventura, Managing Director, MENA region for LaLiga, added: “We are excited for this three-year collaboration. We expect to see a lot of positive feedback to this unique activation opening opportunities for us as we are entering a new digital era to connect with the younger generations.”
A release date for the content series has yet to be revealed.
Esports Insider says: This is certainly an exciting collaboration that continues to highlight Galaxy Racer’s growth. European football leagues are constantly wanting to break into the new markets and demographics, so it makes sense for LaLiga to collaborate with an esports organisation to create content tailored towards younger generations.
