14 Aug xQc Receives Yet Another Twitch Ban
Twitch personality xQc has been banned from Twitch again.
The last few weeks have been rough for the popular Twitch streamer and former Overwatch pro Felix “xQc” Lengyel. While the prolific variety streamer is no stranger to controversy and discipline, Lengyel somehow received yet another ban from Twitch today.
The details of this punishment are unclear this early in the going. All that we know for sure is that Lengyel is once again unable to stream on the platform for the time being.

This instance marks the second ban for Lengyel since the Olympics DMCA punishment from two weeks ago. The content creator reacted to the 2020 Summer Olympics live on his stream and suffered a temporary ban. While Twitch did lift the ban, Lengyel decided to pursue legal action for the DMCA strike.
Today’s ban is not as clear. Lengyel was live yesterday for nearly 11 hours, peaking at almost 60K viewers while reacting to YouTube videos and playing games such as Apex Legends and Valorant according to Twitch Tracker. It’s possible this infraction came from another DMCA strike or perhaps a breach of Twitch’s terms of service (TOS).
Unfortunately, we can only theorize the possibilities. Neither Twitch nor Lengyel himself has acknowledged the latest ban.
Twitch cleared the streamer’s Olympics DMCA violation the day it occurred. There’s no telling what caused the situation today to unfold or how soon xQc will return to Twitch.
Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
