The series will consist of twelve tournaments that are hosted on Community Gaming’s platform.
Bryan Mier, Regional Manager and Business Development for Latam at Community Gaming, commented: “Both companies have joined synergies on a common goal: growing the landscape of competitive esports in Latin America.
“The Partnership perfectly combines our commitment to promoting esports spaces worldwide and the popularity and acceptance of a title such as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. We look forward to the exciting opportunities this partnership will bring to prospective talents in the region.”
The Dawn of Heroes competition is set to commence at the end of August and will run for a period of six months. Each month, the series will feature two events — one for the Northern LATAM region and one for Southern LATAM.
The free-to-enter tournaments will be played in a single-elimination format to allow for recurring monthly iterations. Prizes for the tournaments will consist of ‘diamonds’, MLBB’s in-game currency. According to the release, the series aims to provide players with a recurring competitive space while ‘casting light’ on existing and upcoming talents.

The delivery of the series is aligned with MPL Brazil, MLBB’s regional professional league for LATAM. As a result, scheduling conflicts and forecasted adjustments have reportedly been put in place to deliver both events successfully.
Esports Insider says: The announcement follows on from the expansion of the MPL to Brazil and demonstrates the publisher’s commitment to growing MLBB esports in Latin America. Moreover, partnering with Community Gaming for a non-professional series seems like a good way to support the aspiring talent within the region.
