07 Aug Fortnite: FNCS Champion Chapix Joins Falcons Esports
Chapix is no longer a free agent in Fortnite Battle Royale.
Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) winner Moussa “Chapix” Faour has officially joined the Middle East-based organization Falcons Esports. The Fortnite veteran, who turned 17 on June 3, seemed to have been holding out until his 18th birthday to sign a contract. However, it appears the wait is over for one of Europe’s best players. After a pretty long delay, Chapix has found a home with Falcons Esports.

Falcons Esports has been making waves in the European scene of late after establishing themselves in Fortnite’s underrated Middle East region. Their move to Europe began with FNCS Season 6 runner-up Oscar “Refsgaard” Dalgas Refsgaard in May. Since then, the organization has picked up FNCS Chapter 2 – Season 2 Champion Alexandre “Andliex” Christoph and, more recently, bought out three-time FNCS winner Tai “TaySon” Starčič’s contract.
Now, they add 17-year-old Chapix, whose career dates back to the Fortnite World Cup era, where he competed at the Duo Finals, ultimately finishing in 22nd place. Chapix’s career since that time includes seven FNCS Final appearances and a win in Chapter 2 – Season 5 alongside long-time teammates Jannis “JannisZ” Matwin and Henrik “Hen” Mclean. Chapix, JannisZ and Hen recently won the inaugural Bugha’s Late Game tournament and took third in the first FNCS Season 7 Qualifier.

It’s been an impressive run for both Chapix and Falcons Esports. While Chapix continues to ascend in Fortnite’s most challenging region, Falcons sign Europe’s cream of the crop. It’s been a long time coming for Chapix. He’ll represent Falcons in the upcoming FNCS Chapter 2 – Season 7, where his trio could very well claim the Axe of Champions once again.
