Epic Games is hosting the second edition of Short Nite, where Fortnite players can queue into Party Royale mode and watch animated shorts from up-and-coming creators. The main event is the world premiere of the popular Guildedguy series, featuring a character that will become a purchasable skin in Fortnite on July 22. Short Nite 2 Information

The developers released a blog post with information regarding Short Nite 2.

“This latest Short Nite includes a variety of shorts that are comedic, rhythmic, and action-packed. Included in the schedule are two shorts from the full-of-action Gildedguy saga, including the world premiere of the next entry Gildedguy Gets Up! (featuring music by Emma Stevens).”

Epic’s blog post states that each short is around 40 minutes, running for 48 hours uninterrupted. Players should head over to the big screen in Party Royale mode to watch. The Fortnite Team crafted a helpful guide on how to get to the big screen area.

The event kicks off on Friday, July 23, 2021, at 2 PM ET. If you can’t make the debut, the short films will continue to play non-stop until 2 PM ET on July 25.

Guildedguy Skin

The Guildedguy cosmetic set will be available in the Fortnite Item Shop on July 22 at 8 PM ET. Epic will unveil the base skin with a Slush Fighter Cape Back Bling and Stellapen Smashpack Pickaxe.
