20 Jul Diamondcon Joins NYSL Starting Roster As Clayster Takes A Break From Competitive COD
Clayster has announced a short break from competitive COD.
James “Clayster” Eubanks has been a dominant force in the Call of Duty League so far this season. In fact, he has been one of the best players in the game for over 10 years. However, the Subliners recent results have not been good, starting Stage 5 with an 0-3 record.
Due to this, Clayster has decided to take a “break from competition this week”, which sees Conor “Diamondcon” Johst welcomed back to the roster.
Part of the balance of competing at the highest level is knowing when to recharge. @Clayster will be taking a break from competition this week with @Diamondcon_ stepping-in for the series. Let’s go NY. #NYSL

This is a shock decision, and something that no fan expected. However, with the Major and Champs coming up later in the season, we all want to see Claysrter at his full ability. As for the Subliners, they take on Paris Legion and Atlanta FaZe this week in two must win matches. Given Legion’s recent success over the LA Thieves, this could be a 0-5 stage for the Subliners, something that no one would’ve ever expected.
