The broadcast rights agreement is the first deal Fantasyexpo has brokered since becoming the strategic business partner of esports tournament organiser PGL. The partnership, which was announced in May 2021, saw the agency become PGL’s representative to acquire advertising clients ahead of the Major that is set to begin on October 23rd.
Krzysztof Stypulkowski, Co-founder of Fantasyexpo, spoke on the news in a release: “We are constantly setting the achievement bar higher and higher. The organisation of broadcasts for so many fans, in eight different languages, is surely a jump to a higher level for our agency.
“It is a great challenge not only for our studio but for the entire team cooperating with commercial partners and media.”

Due to the Swedish Sports Federation voting to not accept esports into the federation, there is still a possibility that Counter-Strike’s 16th Major could be moved to another location. On July 8th, video game publisher Valve announced that Dota 2’s The International 10 would relocate to Bucharest, Romania after the event was unable to take place in Sweden’s capital city.
Fantasyexpo has handled broadcasting rights for several Majors, including the MLG Columbus Major and FACEIT London that took place in 2016 and 2018.
Esports Insider says: Considering the existing relationship between Fantasyexpo and PGL, it’s no surprise to see the agency secure the broadcast rights for the upcoming Major in a number of European countries.
