15 Jun Dota 2: SumaiL To Help OG In Their Quest For TI Gold
SumaiL returns to OG.
A day after long-time OG team member Anathan “Ana” Pham announced his departure from the Dota 2 scene, Syed Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan finalizes his move back to the OG roster.
In pure OG fashion, our road to qualify to TI this year is not the smoothest.
A king’s help will be more than welcomed.@SumaaaaiL has accepted to once again hop on our train and give us a royal hand.

SumaiL will be manning first position and helping OG in their run for TI 10. The 22-year-old Dota 2 pro’s past performance for OG as carry is fondly remembered. He helped the team win joint first and second place at Europe’s Open and Closed Qualifiers for the ESL One Los Angeles 2020; back in February 2020.
The Pakistani ace left OG after playing the Beyond Epic: Europe/CIS event in June 2020. SumaiL played out the rest of 2020 with Just Error. Eventually moving to Team Liquid’s roster for the first half of 2021.
“SumaiL has always been one of my favorite teammates and players,” JMR Luna, CEO of OG esports, bubbled with enthusiasm about the player’s return, “I’m personally delighted to have him back in OG.”
Round 1 of the TI qualifiers starts July 7. But we’ll get to SumaiL in action with OG before that. The team are playing the ESL One Summer 2021 on June 16.
OG’s roster is now:
Syed Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan
Topias “Topson” Taavistainen
Sebastien “Ceb” Debs
Martin “Saksa” Sazdov
Johan “N0tail” Sundstein
