12 Jun Fortnite Crew Skins Ranked From Worst To Best
ESTNN ranks all Fortnite Crew skins from worst to best!
Epic Games released the Fortnite Crew subscription service in late 2020 with plenty of incentive for the average player. For $11.99 per month, subscribers would receive each seasonal Battle Pass, 1,000 V-Bucks and a cosmetic set, including a character outfit, pickaxe, back bling, wrap and loading screen.
It paid for itself, really, and Epic even recently added more incentives such as additional loading screens and a free three-month subscription to Spotify Premium. However, the exclusive skins are the main attraction. They’re each only available for one month before disappearing forever.
We’ve had the opportunity to use all Fortnite Crew cosmetics since launch, and today, we are ranking them from worst to best. Remember, these are our opinions, but let us know your thoughts on Twitter @ESTNN. Now, let’s get to the list!
7. Alli
Alli, a cat-like character, arrived in April 2021 to a lukewarm reception. Sister of Lynx, Alli is one of the more toned-down Fortnite Crew designs. Apart from her long pink hair and cat ear hat, nothing particularly stands out. Like Vi, some could look at Alli and enjoy her features, but there’s a certain flair lacking. As a result, she lands in the number seven spot overall.
6. Vi
The fourth Fortnite Crew cosmetic outfit arrived in the form of Vi. This character represents the “Fox Clan,” an in-game group that includes Drift and Catalyst. Vi was one of the weaker entries in the Crew series, but it all comes down to preference. Some players would undoubtedly run with Vi, considering her two selectable styles, pickaxe and back bling. However, it was just not one that stood out amongst the pack. These factors ultimately land Vi in sixth.
5. Llambro
March 2021 marked the debut of Llamabro, an interesting design that crossed Fortnite’s patented Llama in human form. Llamabro’s colorful palette made the character’s outfit and cosmetics stand out. Unfortunately, it was not an entirely original idea. The Llion skin debuted in February of 2020 and seemed to be a precursor to Llamabro. Nonetheless, it’s still a fun concept and one that adds another legendary layer to the already iconic Fortnite Loot Llama.
4. Mecha Cuddle Master
The latest addition to Fortnite Crew caught subscribers by surprise. June 2021 saw the debut of Mecha Cuddle Master, a spin-off of the iconic Cuddle Team Leader skin from Chapter 1 – Season 2. In this case, the age-old Fortnite cosmetic received some much-needed enhancements via the Fortnite Crew, including a mech-style suit and other cosmetic items to match. The Mecha Cuddle Master came ready with three selectable styles, and a futuristic pickaxe, and back bling to match. Epic Games deviated from the script with the Mecha Cuddle Master, and we welcome more unique concepts in the future.
3. Green Arrow
Epic opened the second month of its Fortnite Crew launch with a character that comic book fans would quickly identify. Oliver Queen, better known as Green Arrow, appeared as the latest crossover between DC Comics and Fortnite at the time. It seemed out of the blue but made sense upon further investigation. Epic Games has inked collaborations with Batman and its characters in the past and present. Green Arrow’s appearance was excellent, and his cosmetics represented the character well.
2. Galaxia
Fortnite’s first Crew skin reimagined the fan-favorite Galaxy-style appearance that many have grown to love over the years. Galaxia sports an appealing color palette, including neon pink, green and an astral backdrop. Perhaps referencing COVID-19 in some sense, Galaxia also wears a mask and a pair of shades on her head. The galaxy skins always create a buzz in Fortnite. Epic Games made a wise choice opening Fortnite Crew with Galaxia, and she rightfully sits in second place.
1. Deimos
May’s Fortnite Crew skin just so happens to be the greatest thus far. Described as an “underworld inhabitant,” Deimos emerged from the shadows in May during Fortnite Season 6. Epic Games took a different direction after rolling out some more refined and toned-down Fortnite Crew exclusives. Deimos came along with three selectable styles, including an eye-popping green glowing effect. The character is much different and darker than Fortnite typically creates, and it’s honestly a special character outfit from head to toe.
