In an effort to further engage its fans, Gambit will tap Abios data to ‘create additional value’ around its content and match activity.
This includes a detailed match calendar covering both upcoming and past matches across the organisation’s rosters in Dota 2, CS:GO, VALORANT, and Fortnite. The calendar feature will be powered by Abios REST API, streamlining incoming data across every game title for a plug-and-play solution.
Gambit Esports Head of Media Nikita Koroteev commented on the deal in a release: “Our goal is to provide unique content and this partnership should ensure that our fans are more involved with what’s happening with the team. Integration with a great and comfortable API went smoothly due to Abios’ willingness to help.”
In addition to the match calendar, Gambit will utilise Abios data and statistics to create content across its social channels to engage with fans. This feature can be used to demonstrate and visualize a wide range of in-game data, such as documenting the number of enemies eliminated in VALORANT using a certain ability throughout a match.
Abios Key Account Manager Jacob Howard added: ”Abios is happy to support Gambit Esports with anything necessary in their quest to create additional value for their esports fans. Our journey together has only begun and we look forward to seeing which other verticals we can explore to create an even better experience for the esports fans and supporters through engaging data-driven content.”
