09 May Activision Bans CoD Ghost Voice Actor For Sexist Comments
Activision takes action against Jeff Leach’s tirade on stream.
According to an article from Charlie INTEL on May 8 Activision are ending their connection with Ghost voice actor Jeff Leach.
“Activision is no longer working with Jeff Leach,” the developer said in a statement provided to Charlie INTEL. “We strongly condemn these remarks. We are committed to delivering a fun and safe experience for all players.”
Luke “NitroLukeDX” Pickering posted a video to Twitter of Leach verbally abusing Nati “The ZombiUnicorn” Casanova while streaming Call of Duty: Warzone on Twitch.

It’s likely the videos are from sometime in December 2020.
ZombiUnicorn replied to Pickering’s tweet, calling out Facebook, Activision and Call of Duty for maintaining their partnership with Leach despite his misogynist comments.
Ghost is a reocurring character in the Call of Duty franchise. Leach began voicing for Ghost when the character was added as an operator in February 2020. He has also been streaming Warzone on Facebook Gaming as an official partner in 2020.
Streamers and community members rallied behind ZombiUnicorn, pressuring Activision to take action. There is no word yet from Facebook Gaming about the issue. Although they’ve confirmed they’re ending the working relationship with Leach; they’re still yet to make a statement regarding changes to the appearance and voice of Ghost in current titles.
