06 May Fortnite: What Is Toona Trouble?
A Fortnite Battle Royale comic crossover seems to be brewing with an iconic character involved.
Fortnite’s official Twitter account tweeted some peculiar Meowscles art that has the community wondering. The beloved jacked feline character appeared prominently in Chapter 2 – Season 2 before his son Kit took the reigns at Catty Corner. Now, Fortnite is teasing a Meowscles-centric comic that could become a skin based on some theories floating around.

The Meowscles Comic Tweet

The tweet itself shows a comic strip of Meowscles as he tries to eat a fish. In the third panel, Meowscles looks confused as the ink begins to cover him. It’s a relatively simple tweet that offers no accurate information, but the “To be continued” all but confirms more teasers are on the way.
Cartoon Comic Set on the Way?
Reddit quickly started theorizing what this could mean, and some seem plausible. BossJay08 on the FortniteBR subreddit pointed out a connection between this comic strip and two levels within the Season 6 Battle Pass. Tier 88 and 91 feature a banner icon and spray that resembles a similar comic style to the Toona Trouble imagery. Others instantly thought of Disney’s Mickey Mouse, considering the glove on Meowscles’ hand in the third panel.

The evidence is minimal, but the Internet always finds a way to decode Epic’s cryptic tweets. Could we be getting a Fortnite x Disney crossover? That’s already happened, since both Star Wars and Marvel Comics are part of the Disney family. If it’s not Mickey Mouse, then Meowscles comic cosmetic seems inevitable. We’ll ultimately have to wait and see what more Epic presents.
