Team Liquid’s coaching position is now empty with an upcoming tournament in two weeks.

After coaching Team Liquid for nine months, Jason “moses” O’Toole has parted ways with the organization.

Team Liquid announced the news on Twitter, expressing their gratitude towards Moses and how the coach has been a rock for the team during tough times. According to the post, Moses was “An endless source of energy for the squad”.

After parting ways with his broadcasting career, Liquid appointed Moses as Head Coach back in August 2020. He replaced Eric “⁠adreN⁠” Hoag, who was coaching the team for over one and a half years.

Liquid’s performance has been inconsistent in recent times. The team has gone through some big changes, including the signings of Michael “⁠Grim⁠” Wince and Gabriel “⁠FalleN⁠” Toledo. Their positions in competitions have been around third or fourth. However, the team had to face extremely poor results, finishing 9th-12th in the recent ESL Pro League Season 13. Their run in BLAST Premier Spring Showdown was also short-lived as they lost to Dignitas in the first round of the tournament.

Team Liquid has provided no information about a possible new coach. The team will now compete in the cs_summit 8 starting from May 20, 2021.
