13 Apr Fortnite: Aloy Cup PlayStation-Only Tournament – Free Skin, Format, Date, Scoring System & More
Find out how you can win the Horizon Zero Dawn skin for free.
Epic Games has officially announced another Fortnite crossover that they will happily add to the ever-growing list. This time, a collaboration with the Sony-published “Horizon Zero Dawn” video game series grabbed headlines after the developer released patch 16.20 early this morning. Aloy – Horizon Zero Dawn’s main character – looks to represent the RPG with a slew of new cosmetics, including a skin, emote, harvesting tool, glider, loading screen, back bling and weapon wrap. While the complete set will arrive in the Item Shop on April 15, an “Ice Hunter” style exclusive to PlayStation players is worth noting for completionists out there. Epic Games also announced an Aloy Cup for those on PS4 and PS5, where top performers will receive the complete Horizon Zero Dawn bundle for free.

Aloy Cup Format & Date
Epic continues the free-skin tournaments with the Aloy Cup – a duo tournament open to PlayStation competitors. Anyone in possession of a PS4 or PS5 can compete for a chance to secure Aloy early and for free. The duo competition follows a traditional scoring system and format, but Bow eliminations count for eight points, considering Aloy’s expertise in the Horizon Zero Dawn series. Other than that caveat, players need to earn points based on eliminations and placement to win the ultimate prize. Here is the format and start date for the Aloy Cup:
- April 14 (all regions)
- Three-hour session
- A maximum of ten matches
- The highest-scoring teams will unlock the Aloy Bundle
