The team performed poorly throughout Masters 1 and the qualifiers. Missing out on direct qualification for Stage 2 of the Valorant Champions Tour 2021. With Derke and Magnum joining the team, Fnatic are hoping they’ll help them capitalize on their final chance to reach Masters 2 at Reykjavik.
According to their blog, Fnatic screened players from all over Europe and beyond in an effort to come up with their new roster. Derke previously played with Kove Esports CS:GO squad, as well as CrowCrowd’s CIS VALORANT crew. Fnatic say he plays superbly on Valorant heroes Jett and Sova. Magnum, on the other hand, has an adaptable and smart style and possesses top-frag potential. With Fnatic claiming his skill with Killjoy and Cypher is equal to the best in Europe. They also believe he’ll become a crowd-favorite in no time due to his strong personality.
