The talented French player is now eligible to play in Valve tournaments

After a long struggle on his part, Valve has unbanned Jayson “Kyojin” Nguyen Van. Therefore, he can now participate in official tournaments. Initially, Valve had issued a Valve Anti Cheat (“VAC”) ban on Kyojin in 2018 because he was connected to an account that had already been VAC banned. The 22-year old had been trying for over two years to clear his name but found little success until now.

In his announcement, the French rifler thanked Jérôme Coupez, CS:GO Team Manager Spiroo and the Counter-Strike Professional Players Association. Subsequently, he optimistically declared, “I’m happy to announce that I’m officially eligible to participate in Valve events! What can I say… I’m extremely excited and will give 100% of myself from today on the game. I can promise you that you won’t be disappointed.”

Pros who have played with Kyojin have long known how good he is. He had already played with a lot of top CS:GO pros like Nabil “Nivera“ Benrlitom, Kévin “misutaaa” Rabier, and Jordan “Python” Munck-Foehrle. “He is one of the most promising players I’ve seen,” noted Jérôme Coupez. Notably, it was Coupez who proposed to initiate an investigation and helped Kyojin with his case.
