02 Apr Bruno Mars Reveals Fortnite Emote On Instagram
Fortnite x Bruno Mars is happening.
The collaborations do not stop for Epic Games in their quest to make Fortnite the most inclusive game. Fortnite’s last two seasons featured a slew of characters from Marvel Comics and many legendary film and video game series. Epic has also jumped on the TikTok bandwagon, which led to many of the platform’s viral dances becoming in-game emotes. The developers are continuing their run of impressive partnerships with one of pop music’s most notable names. Grammy Award winner Bruno Mars revealed today that one of his dance routines would appear in Fortnite Battle Royale.

Bruno Mars’ Instagram Post
Shortly after Fortnite and Bruno Mars followed each other on Instagram, the artist made an exciting announcement. “Yo @fortnite let ya uncle Brunz teach ya how to swang to this thang,” wrote Mars in the Instagram caption. The video depicted a real-life person alongside a Fortnite character as both performed the same dance routine for Bruno Mars’s song “Leave The Door Open.” Fortnite leaker HYPEX revealed the in-game emote animation not long after the news broke.
