Dota 2: MidOne Parts Ways With OG

Dota 2: MidOne Parts Ways With OG

After spending some time at OG, Yeik “MidOne” Nai Zheng is no longer a part of the team.

MidOne is one of the best Dota 2 players in the world. He became famous during his time at Team Secret, where he played as a mid laner. Even though he is often regarded as one of the best players in his position, he had to learn other roles.

When he became a part of OG, he had to learn how to play in the offlane. Several other mid laners also had made the switch to this position, so it wasn’t surprising that MidOne was pretty successful.

What’s interesting is that he also had to take over the carry role and he did pretty well, for the most part. Unfortunately, OG’s recent results have not been the best. That’s why we were expecting drastic changes, and just a few days before the beginning of the first Major of the year, the two-time TI winners decided to part ways with MidOne.

According to the official announcement, the primary reason for OG’s decision is the lack of results and competitive synergy. Sebastien “Ceb” Debs said that MidOne was one of the best players that his team worked with. Despite his raw skills, he was unable to “click” with the other players.

Following MidOne’s departure, we have to wait and see who will fill in his role. The team will need to get a new carry player for Season 2 of the DPC. If you want to check who will fill in MidOne’s role, stay tuned to ESTNN.
