They signed the youngster on free transfer after leaving Complexity at the start of the year. oBo was signed in to replace the sudden departure of Ethan “Ethan’’ Arnold, after the American rifler switched to Valorant with professional team 100 Thieves.
oBo was part of Complexity’s new lineup. However, feelings of homesickness forced the youngster to be on the sidelines.

oBo seems like the perfect replacement to EG’s rifler Ethan. The NA team finished top-12 in the recent IEM Katowice tournament with a win against tournament champions Gambit Esports as a strong positive. They will look to improve upon their performances in future competitions.
Following the completion of their squad, Evil Geniuses will look to compete in the upcoming ESL Pro League Season 13. Placed in Group D, the North American side is along with Astralis, Liquid, Fnatic and Virtus.pro. After the mediocre performances of last competition, EG will look to come back in form for this one.
EG’s new team now has the following five players:
- Vincent “Brehze” Cayonte
- Tsvetelin “CeRq” Dimitrov
- Tarik “tarik” Celik
- Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz
- Owen “oBo” Schlatter
