18 Feb CoD: Best Class Setups for League Play in BOCW
League Play has now been out for a week, so here’s the best class setups to get you topping the ladder.
Black Ops Cold War’s League Play released just a week ago, and since, we’ve already been through two ladders. If you’ve struggled to reach top 10/25 this week, here’s the best classes to use to get you there.
XM4
The XM4 seems to be the best gun in Black Ops Cold War right now. It’s capable of beaming people at range, but also competent up close making it a very versatile weapon, and good for all play styles. For this class you’ll want to be using the Gunfighter Wildcard, giving you 7 attachments.
- Optic: Microflex LED
- Muzzle: Muzzle Brake 5.56
- Barrel: 13.7” Ranger
- Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
- Magazine: 40 RND
- Handle: Airborne Elastic Wrap
- Stock: Raider Pad
These attachments increase stats across the board, making the XM4 nearly unbeatable at all ranges and perfect for those aggressive Assault Rifle players.
AK-74u
The AK-74u gives the XM4 a run for its money as the best weapon in the game. It can kill people at a much farther range that it seemingly should, but also shreds up close. This class setups doesn’t need Gunfighter, so we suggest using Perk Greed instead.
- Muzzle: Spetsnaz Compensator
- Barrel: 9.3” Extended
- Underbarrel: Spetsnaz Speedgrip
- Handle: GRU Elastic Wrap
- Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock
These attachments yet again improve the AK-74u across the board, making it one of the best weapons in the game. Paired with the Perks shown above, this class is exceptional for respawn game modes, while Quartermaster can be swapped out for Assassin in SnD.
