Spanish streams covering all three tiers of competition in the Champion’s Tour began on February 4th, which saw the likes of Ulises Prieto, Sergio Ferra, and Eugenio “Kam1” Mongi commentate on the action on LVP’s Twitch channel.
Jordi Soler, CEO of LVP, commented on the news in a release: “We’re grateful to Riot Games for choosing us as the official channel for this international VALORANT adventure. Here at LVP, our commitment to endowing this project with our production values, as well as our greatest efforts and passion for the sector.
“We have been the official channel in Spanish for the League of Legends LEC for many years now and it’s an honour to have been chosen to become the official channel for VALORANT.”

The past three months have been productive for the Spanish tournament organiser. In November 2020, it was announced that LVP would jointly-produce the third season of eLiga Portugal alongside MEDIAPRO. Moreover, in December, it was commissioned by Riot Games to operate Spain’s VALORANT circuit for the entirety of 2021.
Alberto Delgado, Senior Brand Manager of VALORANT Spain for Riot Games, also spoke on the collaboration: “2020 was already showing signs that the competitive VALORANT is here to stay, but it’s really in 2021 where we’ll begin to see the consolidation of the competitive structure and where everything will take on a much greater dimension: we’re not only going to discover the best teams from each region through a series of free-to-play recurring competitions.
“By year’s end, we’ll also be crowning the VALORANT world champion. Here at Riot, our goal is to bring the best competition in the world to our Spanish-speaking public, and we couldn’t have imagined anyone better than LVP to cover the eagerly awaited VALORANT Champions Tour.”
Esports Insider says: Considering the existing relationship between Riot Games and LVP, it’s no surprise to see the tournament organiser named as the Spanish language channel for the 2021 VALORANT season.
