CoD: Everything You Need To Know About CDL Challengers Elite Stage 1

With the Elite Series starting tomorrow, here’s everything you need to know.


The Challengers Elite Series begins on Feb 9. The Elite Series is set to be the next step up from the Challengers events, but not quite the CDL. Here’s all the qualified teams, the format and the schedule for Stage 1.

Format

The Challengers Elite sees the Top 8 teams from both Europe and North America play round robin matches on the Tuesday and Wednesday before a CDL event. These matches will earn teams points, with the top 2 heading straight to the Playoffs, while 2nd to 6th play in a knockout bracket. The top 4 teams will remain in Elite for the next stage, whereas the bottom 4 will have to fight their way back in.

Qualified Teams

The Challengers Elite qualifiers took place this weekend. This saw the Top 32 Challengers teams go head to head in a double elimination bracket, with the Top 8 qualifying for the Elite.

Schedule and How to Watch

Challengers Elite Stage 1 begins on Feb 9 with EU matches beginning at 2PM ET and NA matches starting at 8PM ET. Elite matches will be played on the Tuesday and Wednesday before CDL events, and will be streamed on the Call of Duty League YouTube Channel.
