04 Feb CoD: Treyarch Confirm BOCW League Play Release Date
Treyarch has finally revealed the day that League Play will return.
League Play has been on the lips of every competitive Call of Duty fan since the release of Black Ops Cold War, and after it was announced earlier in the year, the hype has never been higher. With the Call of Duty League starting on February 11, many fans were hoping for a release before, or on that date. Well, today Treyarch announced that League Play will officially be returning on February 8.
League Play Ranking System
While the League Play ranking system hasn’t been fully revealed, Treyarch has said that it is “built on the foundations of Black Ops 4’s popular ladder system”. This means that while it unfortunately won’t feature the ELO-based system such as World War 2 did, it will have 30 Ranks for us to grind through.
The ladder-based ranking system has disappointed some fans and professional players, with Slasher saying how he is “disappointed but not surprised” by the announcement.

Treyarch finally said that this isn’t all the info we will find. They will be revealing more in the coming days and hopefully giving us competitive fans what we want to see.
