CoD: Dallas Empire Announces $25K Empire Challenge Warzone Tournament

Dallas Empire announces yet another Warzone tournament, with $25K on the line.

Call of Duty League teams have been hosting Warzone tournaments since its release, and they don’t show any sign of stopping. Dallas Empire is the latest to announce one, with the $25K Empire Challenge taking place next week. Here’s everything we know so far.

Format

The Empire Challenge will be a Duos kill-race tournament, with 10 Duos competing. It will be a Double Elimination bracket, meaning teams have two chances to stay alive in the tournament. Being a kill-race tournament, this means that teams will need to play aggressively to win.

Teams

The teams for the Empire Challenge are yet to be revealed, however, we expect to see some of the best in the game competing. This includes Empire players such as Crimsix, along with some of the top Warzone players such as Symfuhny and HusKerrs.

However, with players such as Nickmercs revealing that they won’t be participating in Warzone tournaments from now on, this could have an impact on the caliber of players in this event.

Schedule and How to Watch

Dallas Empire’s Empire Challenge kicks off on Monday, February 8 at 12PM CT. Being a double elimination bracket it will likely last four or five hours. You can watch on Call of Duty’s Twitch Channel, or your favorite competitor will also stream their POV.
